VinoVenue is a Danish wine club known for attracting the most discerning buyers demanding more than average wines. It started back in 2002 when the first cases of mixed wine were shipped out, and the wine club now has more than 7,000 members who enjoy great offers on wine from around the world.
VinoVenue requested a CMS ecommerce solution with easy and user-friendly capabilities allowing VinoVenue to create and modify their own digital marketing and sales efforts. The solution needed to be flexible and should contain ecommerce functionality capable of increasing their digital sales. In addition, the solution should be scalable according to future expansion, which would include new language versions and personalized content.
Together with the Danish Dynamicweb partner, E-handelsbureauet Wølund & Wraae, VinoVenue has developed a vast B2B and B2C online community and webshop solution built on Dynamicweb software with live integration to Dynamics NAV. The solution contains new and improved ecommerce functionalities, including the ability to create campaign sites with individual debtor groups, automated sales and marketing processes, optimized checkout flows and impersonation, allowing VinoVenue to place orders on behalf of B2B customers. Finally, the webshop design is responsive, which ensures a consistent and user-friendly experience on both mobiles, tablets and desktops.
The new solution has generated a significant increase in online sales, which generates from increased order sizes, more cross and up selling opportunities, and finally a decrease in the number of abandoned shopping carts. The integration with Dynamics NAV has automated a whole range of administrative processes, which has minimized the time spent on support and unfinished orders. Altogether, it has generated an overall saving according to manual working hours and administrative tasks, and has enabled VinoVenue to optimize their daily work processes and to increase their online sales.
